Mindstorm Studios through its engine M-Labs organized a Problem Discovery Workshop for women associated with game building. The problem statement put forth to the participants was, “How can women’s representation in Pakistan’s gaming industry be increased to at least 30 percent by 2025?”
Guests at the event included women from Pakistan’s game-building industry and women representing notable higher education institutions such as FAST NUCES, UMT, FCCU, and PUCAD. The Political and Economic Chief US consulate Lahore, Kathleen Gibilisco also in attendance, remarked that this was a positive step towards improving equality and creating opportunities for women to join a thriving 200 billion dollar global industry.
