Rookie Game Jam 2021
The M-Labs summer program had a successful batch of 321 participants from various institutes across Pakistan, including many female students. The program included 8 weeks of training and mentoring, leading up to the Rookie Game Jam 2021, where 92 teams presented their projects. 75 games were submitted by the participants. The program had a hybrid setup with in-person and online elements, including Friday-Jams for networking and idealisation. Participants described the program as fun, with a great community and opportunities for hands-on experience in the game industry.
